I'm one of the few people that I know that really loves their jobs, even though I resent the time that making a living takes away from fishing! I enjoy the work, the challenges and the people that I get to work with.

Since September of 1995, I've had a seven nights on - seven nights off schedule. I love it! There is adequate time to get things done or even go on trips during the seven off. The seven on is a long stretch, and if I didn't love my job it would probably be intolerable. As it is, it usually takes me a couple of days to recuperate from my "on" stretch before I'm able to accomplish much on my days off. That's probably partly an age problem ;-/
