The Smoke-Ring Journals are the on-line journals who are kept by people who fit into any of these categories:

  • Smokers
  • Ex-Smokers
  • Wannabe Ex-Smokers
I'm sorry, but people who have never smoked or never really smoked will not be considered for admission. In general, they are an unsympathetic lot, and we get enough of that shit in the real world.

Well, yeah, ex-smokers can be just as bad, but we know that they've been there and know what it's about.

The requirements then are:

  • You must have smoking experience; final decision by the ringmaster, naturally.
  • You must maintain a journal (diary) on the web.
  • You must update your journal at least monthly.
  • The ring links must be on your linked page.
Extensive discussion of smoking is not a necessity; a simple declaration that you are a smoker or an ex-smoker will suffice.

However.... when a smoke-ring just isn't enough... for your reading pleasure... the SMJ Collection! Articles, essays and journal entries pertaining to smoking. Please send contributions to the ringmaster.
