OBJECTIVE

I would enjoy a position as a CT  technologist and radiographer in a small to medium-sized hospital where I could utilize my years of experience doing trauma radiography and CT.

SUMMARY

Working full-time in CT since June 2001.
Twelve previous years spent doing trauma radiography/CT on third shift.
Five years previous to that, QA technologist.
Thirteen years prior to that. chief technoogist.

EXPERIENCE

St Francis Hospital, Topeka, KS

Varied, 1970 - Present

My experience in the CT Suite includes utilizing a Philips MX8000 multislice and a Picker Ultra-Z scanner to do scheduled routine exams, trauma exams and biopsy/aspiration/drainage procedures. I have also had experience on the PQ system.

I have the requisite skills in scanner operation, patient care (including IV insertions) and patient preparation/scheduling. I have excellent skills in image post-processing on both the VOXAR and the MXVIEW systems.

My skills as a trauma radiographer include working independently with both film-screen and electronic imaging systems on the night shift for approximately twelve years.

I was instrumental in implementing the first RIS system in the hospital.

During my stint as the QA technologist, I wrote many programs for PCs using FoxPlus for doing physics QC on the department equipment.
