Dear Karen,
The first poem didn’t say enough
About how much I love you;
It didn’t say enough
About what a wonderful woman you are;
Sometimes I wish I were a REAL poet
For then I would write a poem
That would move the world
A poem that would describe my love for you
In the most flowing words man could ever devise.
A poem that would have the full strength
Of the greatest love the world has ever known.
The feeble words I have are like
Telling a blind man about the beauty of a sunset
But they are all I have.
I love you.
I love you.
I love you so much!
