I'm Doug Franklin, from Topeka, Kansas, USA.
I'm also widely known as nilknarf to those on the World Wide Web.

I've been "into" computing since 1985, starting off with a Commodore 64. I've been designing web pages for four years, and I've learned a lot in the process.

I have built some strong HTML skills during that time, and I've become somewhat of a graphic artist.

I do, however, know my limitations... I'm not afraid to research and ask questions when I have a problem. I belong to several groups of people, mostly web designers, who help each other out with these things. This is the way of the web.

I'm also familiar with some professional graphic artists who will take small contract work.

"So", you ask yourself, "Why should I let this guy design my web site?"

Because I can give you personal service, and I will commit my services to you until you are satisfied with what I have done for you.

I use only Homesite to built web sites, and I clearly annotate the pages for future reference for myself or others who may maintain the site. I am familiar with Java and very familiar with Javascript and CGI routines; I can accomplish anything that you might want on your site.

I am, however, committed personally to simplicity in site design; there are many people who are relatively new to the Web, and simple and clear design for your site is a priority. The worst thing that can happen... is that you scare your reader/customer away.
