Sunset 7
Nice day… six more weeks of weather like this? Winter in Kansas? Piece of cake!
That will be changing a little bit later tonight, though… the rain is just about in Manhattan now and will get here after midnight.
It’ll supposedly change to snow Saturday, but the high will be 40 and the low 31 and then the system will clear the area.
The cardiologist appointment was a bust – They had changed the appointment and either didn’t notify us or I missed the call… I’ve actually missed lots of calls since the first of the year.

Sunset 14
But the tech did a brief check of the device, and said that there had been no program changes. Interesting, since the cardiologist told me that there had been, and the tech told Jean the same thing. Tomorrow I need to call medical records at Sts to have the records from the defibrillator interrogation sent to my cardiologist & his techs.
And – I got a letter from the hospital, they were not responsible for any losses, I initialed a paragraph upon my admission that said so.
I do not even remember being admitted, much less anything that I might have signed.
This is not going to stop here. Any hospital should be able to guarantee that you won’t be robbed while under their care.

Sunset 19
On a much happier note, we had a beautiful sunset tonight, which I photographed leaning on the CR-V in the driveway. It was much more impressive than the little pieces that I was able to capture.
“Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?”Epicurus
Thanx for being here… all these years!!!!

No hospital or clinic is responsible for losses. I guess. When I had x-rays done I had to make sure my purse was either next to me or within eyesight because the nurses told me to take with me. One said sometimes patients not employees steal anything they can get their hands on.
When my SO’s electric razor came up missing the hospital didn’t even want me to file a complaint or anything. I didn’t only because I had made a mistake and took him the one that wasn’t really working well (broke?). But I did want them to know that someone on that floor/section was going through people’s personal effects. It’s a sad thing when you’re sound asleep or drugged to high heaven and people are riffling around right next to you stealing stuff. I mean who knows what they could do to you personally when you’re out. If they are a thief then they are capable of other things too.
Hey, I’m just glad you are recovering…that’s the most important thing.
