Good/bad day. So let's do the bad part first, since it occurred first. I hit the snoozebar for an hour, instead of the usual half-hour. I didn't get to work until 07:00, and that threw my whole day off... well, no, it didn't, 'cause I let stuff go. But I was never without the realization that the day would have been even better if I had woke up on time.... And I took off about 45 minutes early, we weren't busy and I was really antsy, wanting to get stuff done before the TV got here. And I did, and while waiting for the delivery, I made the acquaintance of a neighbor... I thought that he might talk my leg off, but he didn't, quite. It took a lot of energy getting the TV into the house, and I'm just glad that the driver was a strong young guy. I called the transporters' office after he had left and complimented him to his boss. Good work should not go un-noticed, dammit. So, the TV is here, but the wall hangers aren't. I had called Patrick to come over and help me unpack it and I was really grateful that he could.... It came with a stand, but I didn't really want to set it on the table that will reside under it when it's mounted... it's heavy and rather unbalanced, and I didn't want to take any chances, so it's leaning up against the table. The wall hanger should be in on Monday, and both Herman and Patrick are going to be helping. Right now it hooked up, but only receiving analog signals, since I can't get anything else to work, and the KU Basketball game Must Be Watched. But as soon as that's over, I heading to bed. Tard. Before I got the TV set up I got a call from my friend Ginny, and I went out and met her for supper... I'd already laid out some burritos, but those can wait. I had a good, healthy meal, salmon and broccoli... and that maybe made up for the clam chowder that I had for lunch? O'yeah, there is some scheduled downtime on the server this weekend... so don't worry! Y'all have a nice weekend!
