Daily Nilknarf Haiku

try speaking wisely,
you may start thinking wisely...
not knowing wisdom.

And I slept like a baby last night... cried all night long! (That's a joke, folks....)

But I really did sleep well, no dreams disturbed my mind, just sweet sleep. And it was wonderful.

I got up after snoozebarring a few times and made it to work well within my time parameters.

There were only three of us there (like there were only three of them yesterday) and it was fairly busy and just a little bit crazy at times, but we worked together well and stayed caught up... I was proud of us.

This morning as I was going out the door, Raisin (the black cat of which I am half-owner) wanted in. I told him sternly that he was not getting out again until I came home, but I don't think that he heard me, he was crunching Callies' food so loudly.

So he and Callie spent the day together, ain't that sweet?

Of course, as soon as I opened the door... no cats appeared. I think that they had both been sleeping downstairs. They soon heard me, though, and Raisin was ready to run! Out, out, out! He caterwauled and wailed, but I made him play some laser tag first.

Oddly, he was back again tonight... his other owners must be out of town or something... he was hungry.

And my TV will probably be delivered on Friday... and the hangers on Monday, dammit. It should be the other way around, but the world, it is not fair, only fair to middelin'.

I will have to take off work for a while, they only deliver it to the curb... so I might need to get some help, I think that Patrick might be available, I'll have to give him a call.

And it's time, past time, for bed.
