ARCHIVES - 1996 to FOREVER

Pretty much a blah day....

I did get up earlier than yesterday, I was having more weird technicolor dreams, y'know?

I had breakfast and read the paper, noting that there was no BestBuy ad... sometimes the machines that correlate the paper don't get it right, so I didn't worry about it. Read the funnies and the sports while I sipped coffee.

My BS was still a little high this morning, but it's only the second day that I've taken a full pill. It was high before, the first days that I started.

Hopefully it'll be down tomorrow morning, I've been fairly good today.

I think that maybe I'm having a tendency to over-eat, knowing now what happens with under-eating, heh.

I called Kim and then went over to get Patricks' phone, that was Karens' before Patricks' phone quit working, and then out to Best Buy to give them another look-around.

I got out there and the parking lot was empty.

Well, shit. Easter.

So I went to Sams... same thing.

The xians do pretty good at forcing their holidays onto everyone, don't they?

I'm not mad, just amused.

And now I know why BB didn't have an ad today.

When I got home, a friend and co-worker had emailed me... he bought a 58-inch panasonic a while ago on-line, and they were having a sale on them now.

He said that he was sorry that he had looked....

So I checked out the site, and wound up buying one... it came with free shipping and free hardware to hang it with.

I had already started clearing off the bookcase earlier, and I will be moving it over by the front door and the TV will fit perfectly in that space.

I will eventually build a rustic redwood cabinet to set under it, but in the meantime I have several taller tables (the kind that you put behind a couch) that will suffice.

I think that when it's delivered, I'll try to get Herman to come over and help me out with it, he's good at things like that.

The weather here is cool and blustery, and there were some snowflakes in the air when I went out... damn, I'm tired of cold.

We did have a few nice days last week, though, perfect spring days.

We need some more of them.

And I need to get to bed.
