I stayed up too late last night, and I didn't get up this morning until about 10:00... I need to get back on schedule. Friday messed me up, dammit. So I went out looking at TVs today; I'm gonna get a big flat-screen and run the computer into it so that I can sit in a recliner and read and play on the web... and I'll make more use of my living room, and not be stuck back in the 8X12 back bedroom. I will still have a computer back here, of course, and my network stuff, and I'll probably pay bills and stuff like that back here too, just to keep the mess down in the living room. But I have to get rid of two recliners... the ones that Karen bought last year when she thought that she could survive. The recliners are nice enough, but when I recline, I want to have my knees go up a ways, and these just go flat. Additionally, they make static electricity very well, and I don't much like that aspect either. So I need to get a leather or terry-cloth one, and they don't make terry-cloth furniture any more, if they ever did. Anyway, after breakfast, I went out to BestBuy and WalMart and then to Sams' and BB had the one that I thought that I wanted, and it was on sale! However, it did not have a computer input, dammit. I really wanted a panasonic, because of their sound control, but the salesman checked out all of the Panasonics that they had and none of them had computer inputs except for a 17-inch one, heh. And I really need a plasma for the computer, it works a whole lot better than the LCDs, I've been reading. LCDs smear with fast motion.... And then I looked at some Sonys, and the 50-inch one was a little pricier, but it would have worked just fine, I think. And then, unfortunately, I looked at a 60-inch Sony, and I was really impressed... but I don't know if I was impressed $800 worth. But then I found a 50-inch Panasonic on the web much cheaper, with computer input and with free shipping, so I might do that if BB doesn't come through with a good sale in their ad tomorrow. I really hate buying electronics other than computers... computers I know. And cars... I still haven't done that yet either. And the night has snuck up on me here... I watched K-state lose this afternoon, and just finished watching KU beat a very good UNLV team, and KU looked very, very good. If I was a betting man, I'd pick them to go all the way.. I'm really, really hungry... I think sitting around watching all that TV is the culprit here, I haven't expended much energy today... but I'm really tired too. Have a merry Oesther, all you pagans!
but really, making them does.
coin flips are endless....
