Up early again after a good sleep, got over to Hospice about 09:00. Karen was just finishing up her breakfast, she'd eaten quite a bit. And she was looking better even than yesterday. We went for a walk, she with a walker, just around the interior... we did venture out to the balcony by her room, and it was a quite nice day. You can see and hear the traffic from I-70 very easily. Brian was coming home from Lawrence but I left before he got there... he had brought his girlfriend with him, and after he saw Karen he came over here for a while. I went back about 12:30 or so, Karen was just finishing up her lunch, mostly. We had a nice afternoon... our friend Lee Ann came by to see Karen, bringing a bunch of flowers. Tomorrow will be busy with visitors, too... Karen loves seeing people, it perks her up a lot. Her supper wasn't so great, though... it was only luke-warm, so I warmed it up for her in a microwave, and that didn't make it taste any better. As I was leaving, Kim and Patrick Karen wanted a digital voice recorder, but I had decided that the first order of business was... to feef Doug. So I went to the outback and had a nice steak and sweet potato. Then I went to OfficeMax and got the last one that they had on their shelves... all of the others were on sale, and sold out. And now I'm going to bed... incredibly tired. Fuck cancer. Just fuck it.

were coming in... Kim had had trouble getting the key that I gave her to work, so I traded her. When I got home, I tried hers... it worked just fine, heh.
