Pretty much of a blah day... raining most of the day, and it rained most of last night too. Right now we're in a crack between two large systems, as you can see in the capture.... Our sump pump is going constantly, I don't know where the hell all of that water is coming from, but I know that if the power (or the sump pump) gives out, we're in big trouble. Karen is doing about the same; she turned down a chance to go somewhere with Kim and Lacee again today, but they came over and spent some good time with her. Right now she's watching the Kopple show on cancer and really enjoying it. I've been watching off and on, and she asked me why I didn't sit down and watch it... I told her that I get enough of that at home, heh. She's going to bed now, but she taped the last part of it, I think that it was a three-hour show. Brother Dan steered me to some screen-capture software and I'm liking it, probably enough to buy it. I had ordered some guitar strings from Musicians' Friend last Tuesday, and I got them on Friday, so yesterday I restrung my Steinberger... I still love that guitar, even two years later. And I've made my fingers quite And I can't find my song-books... I kinda know approximately where they are, but I haven't started digging for them just yet. And I got some laundry done today, too... I found out that shirts come out a whole lot better if they're still hot from the dryer when you hang them up, heh. Something everyone else has always known, I guess, and I think that maybe I did at one time too, but I just forgot about it. Karen and I had some good conversations today....
and with its' contingent gloom
good for May flowers.
The system is traveling to the NE in such a way that we will be missed for the next several hours, at least.
sore, I need to keep up with that so I can get the calluses back.
