ARCHIVES - 1996 to FOREVER

So we changed track and made a right instead of a left and wound up having a nice meal in an un-busy place.

And the reason that they were un-busy on a Sunday night? Their prices were about $5 a steak more than the other places in town. I guess everyone knew that but us, people were staying away in droves.

But the steak (Karen had the salmon) was very good, and we had left-overs tonight. We got sweet potatos instead of regular baked ones, and I really liked that. I think that more and more steak plaes are offering this alternative.

I did get up on time today, and I was at work in plenty of time. I didn't have to go in until 08:00, supposed to get off at 16:30 but, as usual, we ran out of work and I got really bored, so I left at 16:00... I've gotta quit doing that, dammit.

Getting ready for the trip tomorrow, it's gonna be fun getting on the road, and then getting to learn some new stuff....

Karen and I drove up to Minneapolis a coupla years ago, and it was a nice but very boring drive... I think that we took nine or ten hours getting there, not in a hurry... this time I'll make it in eight, I think.

I'm driving the truck, mostly so I can play my ipod, the converter doesn't work in the car, both of the outlets are on the blink and have been since the boys and I drove to Maryland.

Tomorrow I'm going in at 07:00, I've got an appointment with my cardiologist at 15:30.

And I'm gonna get to bed now.
