I got to bed fairly early last night... but I didn't get up until 11:00 or so. I had looked at the clock about 08:00, and thought that I went back to sleep for just a minute.... So I'm well-rested. That doesn't mean, generally, that I get stuff done, but I did today, for a change. But still, not much. Moved boxes around in the shop, mostly. And then Karen and I watched the Kansas University ball game. Excellent game, with an excellent outcome. I was surprised to see Danny Manning, formerly of KU fame, as the assistant coach of Kentucky. I wasn't at all sorry to see his team get beat. And I'm gonna go out on a limb, here, and predict that KU will take it all. Hell, their bench is better'n any team that they've played so far. And I really hope that I didn't unleash a giant jinx on them, heh. After the game, Karen and I went And it was damned good, I was impressed. It's one of those places where you put your ingredients in a bowl, add your choice of sauce and they cook it up for you on a big circular grill. The main problem came when Matt and I had a coupla beers, and Karen had one... the beers were $4 each, which we hadn't expected. Had we known the price, we would've stuck with waster. We came home and I went out to the shop to smoke and Bill Clinton was on the radio with his Landon Lecuter from K-state. Damn, I wish that I could vote for him again.... And now, I have to go do my pills for the week... I'm late taking them tonight, but that's no big deal, since I took them so late this morning.... 05:30 will come awfullt early in the morning... and Karen and I see the oncologist at 10:45; I'm really hopeful.
not simply a one-nighter
but a grisly bride.
to meet Matt and Stacy at Hu-Hot, an asian eatery... they had got us a gift certificate for x-mas and we hadn't used it yet.
