Daily Nilknarf Haiku

Unknowing millions
still believe in the unknown;
but I likes my facts.

Rough day, yes it was.

Got up on time after a good night's sleep, and got to work on time. I had forgotten that one of the techs was on vacation this week, and I need to come in at 07:00... no big deal today, it wasn't too busy between 07:00 and 08:00....

Nope, my problem today was a rare one for me... hitting veins.

I had a big bunch of people with bed veins today... I only hit about five the first time, and three of them told me that I couldn't do it.

That didn't make me feel any better about the fifteen that I missed the first time.

I was the runner today, and my legs feel like they've been running some, heh.

After work, I went by the apartment and picked up three full boxes... I need to do that every night this week, and I'll be close to being done.

All of Mom's clothing will be going to goodwill on Saturday, probably.

And a bunch of kitchen stuff, too.

My back is really bothering me tonight... I broke one of my cardinal rules... don't help any other department move a large patient. There are a lot of people around with young, un-injured (right now, anyway) backs.

The weather has taken a dramatic turn for the better, it was a beautiful day today, and we'll have the same for the next week or so... maybe some rain/snow tonight, but that's it until probably Sunday.

Most of the snow melted today, we had southerly winds and it got up to about 60°F; just beautiful.

And it's gonna be an early night for me.
