Another ho-hum-ish day in Topeka. Work was OK, I was in the main scan room today; tomorrow I'll be in the other scan room, hopefully I'll get to do something interesting. Karen was meeting Rowena in the cancer center today, so I asked her to come early and have lunch with me, and she did. And we got a little busy around 15:30, so it was 15:40 before I left, no biggie there. After work, I went over to Mom's apartment and sorted through a lot of papers and photos, and I was alarmed to see how many of the old ones were not identified... and now they probably never will be. There are a lot of beauitiful women and handsome men in my lineage... if that's who they were. I came home after a coupla hours, that's about all that I could do. And Karen made goulash for supper, a very tasty new recipe for her, and one that I hope she keeps. Of course, Mom made the best goulash.... I think that the sadness is wearing off, finally. Going back to work has helped a lot with that.... Paula Zahn had a show on 31JAN07 that set a lot of atheists off... it was essentially three xian evangelists saying why they hated atheists. One of them, a Pulitzer prize-winner, said numerous times that atheists should just "shut up!" This is especially interesting since she is black... where would she be if america had listened to the KKK, dammit? Civil rights are for everyone.

really tell the tale....
