Computer problems persist and I'm getting really frustrated, dammit. And I couldn't get this entry up last night so I thought that I'd just continue it. Last night I finally figgered out that the dovetail jib that brother Dan gave me only works for half-blind dovetails... that should make it a lot easier to use, now that I know what it's used for. And yes, it is pretty silly to have a tool that you don't only not know how to use but even what it's used for. So I've got at least part of it figgered out, heh. I did manage to get up pretty early today and did some puttering around in the shop and some puttering around with the computers. Right now I'm running the disk-check tools on the main drive from the main machine... I mounted it in my USB portable drive box and it's chattering away on the other music machine, and I've got my fingers crossed. It's been two hours already and it's still going, I hope that's a good sign. Karen and I went to a co-worker's 25 wedding anniversary bash this afternoon... it was in a church, and the church didn't fall down when I entered it, heh. And Andy's having a birthday party this evening, so we'll be going to that shortly... Karen spent most of the morning helping Rhonda get stuff ready. And I'm gonna try to upload this....
