An OK day.... Eh, you get another cool link today, you lucky people! I don't know if I've mentioned it before, but I've taken over the Autumn Leaves 'burb, although I'm not being very aggressive about it yet, seems like too many other things have been happening. Getting little bits done now and then, though.... I was running the scan room today and that wasn't too hard on my back but it was on my legs, of course. I'm noticing that I'm getting claudication walking in from the parking lot every morning and back when I leave at night... that's about a block and a half. Tomorrow I'll go see my doc for my annual (somewhat) physical, and I'll let him know of my concerns, lower-limb-wise. I really think that I want to wait for any diagnostic stuff until we get our 16-slice scanner in... that'll be about a month. Or maybe I'll wait until we get the 64-slice one in... that'll be the fifteenth of July. And they have finally started moving on the equipment... tonight they're putting up a temporary wall in the workroom, and for the next two weeks it's gonna be really tight in there... we're gonna keep extra deodorant and mouthwash on hand, heh. The 16-slice scanner will be ready to go on the first of June, and we have no idea when the tech training is gonna be or who's going... it's gonna be interesting. Especially so since the evening tech will be leaving sometime in August.... Tomorrow... tomorrow I get my bandsaw! And I will, then, officially have no excuse for not presenting the world with lovely and deeply significant artworks of wood. My highly significant brother pointed out to me that young men are carpenters and build stuff, whilst us old farts are craftsmen doing fine woodworking. And no, that's not a slam on carpenters at all... it's just that we have time to be more, um, craftsman-like with our endeavors. Y'know, take the time to thoroughly think about it and get it right and, um, fiddle-fart around in our shops for days since such weighty decisions are required. Heh, I've used the word "significant" three or four times in this mostly insignificant entry. I'll leave it up to my dear readers to figger out which parts are actually significant, if any. And it's past bedtime, dammit. I'm gettig tired of time passing so fast, anybody got a brake for this damned life?
the same to this old earth, you
insignificant....
