give me pleasant night....

Just as I suspected....

I slept until 11:00 this morning, and it's bedtime... and I'm wired.

Tonight I will move the C-PAP downstairs and sleep in my wonderful waterbed, heh. I've been looking forward to that for a while.

The reason that I started sleeping upstairs is not because sleeping in a waterbed is bad for backs... although I've heard that said... but because it's hell getting in and out of one with a bad back.

Anyway, I spent the day mostly in the shop, moving stuff around, putting stuff away, wondering why I kept *this* thing and looking forward to making this, that or the other out of *that* thing....

I did take a big plunge today, though... I went out to sears and bought their 14-inch band saw finally.

And, of course, they have to order one in, and it won't be here until Thursday. I was rather disappointed, of course, but that'll give me a chance to figger out where I'm gonna put it.

I will use it initially mostly for resawing, and that's the final key to using all the wood that I've got stacked up everywhere.

I talked with Karen just a little bit ago, she's having a wonderful time in Vegas, of course, but it's wearing her out, she said... lotsa walking. She didn't mention gambling at all... which either means that she hasn't done much, of that she's lost all of her money already, heh.

Wow... huge thunderstorms popping up all over, but mostly to the south and west... the ones on the radar right now look like they'll miss Topeka, though, dammit. We needs us some rain!

And even though I may not be able to go to sleep, I need to get into bed, 05:30 will come awfully early tomorrow.
