ARCHIVES - 1996 to FOREVER

Wel, it took me about ten minutes to get out of bed this morning, and then I grabbed what I thought was a relatively-new pair of Levis and tried putting them on.they had waist size of 28 or something like that, they must be JD or Tylers'... I do have a vague memory of onct being that skinny... long, long time ago.

Karen drove us to the doc's office after first stopping at McD's for a breakfast sandwich. I love everyones' breakfast sandwiches, but I get them very seldom... way too many calories and carbs, dammit.

And by the time I was done checking in they had an exam room ready for me, and the doc came in five minutes later.

And he agreed with me that I was hurting and that I needed drugs both to relax my muscles and for the pain... but he had a better, newer idea about the drugs, at least the Flexeril... it's Skelaxin, and I think that it's working. For pain I went a step up, to Loritab, which I don't really like because of the mild side effects (itching & insomnia)... but it seems to be doing its' job quite well too.

And tomorrow I get to go have some physical therapy... then I'm supposed to let him know on Friday if it's working or not.

And I have a conumdrum... I'm sure that this was caused by lifting a patient at work, so it really should be workman's comp. On the other hand, it didn't seem to be significant at the time, so I didn't report it.

And workman's comp is such a hassle.

And on yet another hand... I've worked there about 36 years, so I can pretty much blame work for almost everything that goes wrong with me, heh.

And it's 15:13, and time for a little nap after I post this....
