Interesting day at work. Busy, and I was in the room, thusly on my feet all day, enjoying my patients for the most part... and it wasn't too bad. I think that it's probably the two days off of my feet almost completely that made the difference. Of course, now that I think about it, there's not that much difference in how my legs feel... so I'm gonna quit thinking about it. I did stay over a bit, got home a little after five... and then waited a half-hour before I went out to the shop and had my first cigar. Actually, the second of the day, I'd gone out shortly after I got up and smoked about a quarter of one. Amazingly, I didn't suffer any at work, even at lunch. After I'd eaten and the folks that I'd originally sat with left, I went over and sat with another bunch, heh. It's not like me to be sociable with non-smokers.... And just a little while ago, I decided to try again to load Zephyr, my former #1 machine, with XP. So I turned it on... and it booted up just fine. Checked the drives, everything was A-OK; it's a puzzlement, it is. But I'm now installing XP on it anyway, just 'cause I don't trust W2K anymore. Gonna take an hour or so, so I thought that I'd do this now before it got too late.... And now, dammit, it's too late... 23:16. I worked on the W2K machine, but the failed install of XP screwed it up all over again, dammit. I did get a bunch of files 'a'fore it went bye-bye, though, heh. Now for a good night's sleep.
