Daily Nilknarf Haiku

False interpretations
of the world are often fatal
to bystanders.

And here it is Monday.

More importantly, it's Karens' birthday... a pretty significant one, I'm afraid.

So I bought her roses and took her out to Olive Garden, it seemed to ease the pain a little...

And... it was my first day back to work after the most wonderful vacation that I've ever had without Karen.

And I haven't even started working on the archives yet... dammit, there's just not enough time to do stuff when you have to work, is there?

I do have them all sketched out, though... just a matter of getting them into the proper format.

After eating tonight, we went by Matts' place, he got all moved in while I was gone. He and Brian live about four blocks from here, now....

Interestingly, while I was on vacation, my legs didn't hurt and I had no trouble sleeping... all of this is significant.

Tonight, my legs hurt pretty bad. I was in the scan room today, didn't get any sitting time in at all. And ten days of not hurting... just really makes them hurt more. Or I'm just not used to the pain, maybe.

I would much rather not have to get used to it, given my druthers.

Anyways, I'll have a bunch more entries up tomorrow night....
