Pacifistic hawk
Renders asunder not
soon starves to death.

Yet another very nice day... Dan and I worked some on the drawer(s), we got one completed and the mounting hardware on... and it fit perfectly!

We were both tickled pink.

I talked to my niece Terri and we went up to their home in Mt Airy and had supper with them... very good time was had by all. Hit a beautiful thunderstorm on I-70, driving rain for about ten minutes with straight-line winds. We could see it coming and it was an awesome sight.

I had seen Terri and Glens' girls for the first time three years ago, and they have grown since then, of course. JD had met them two years ago. We were all impressed by them... they remembered JD, but nobody had met Tyler before... well, Terri had, but years and years ago.

Glen went to get the pizza and the kids all went outside and played basketball, so Terri and I got a chance to talk, that was really nice.

I would really like to see them more frequently....

And dammit, we had our cameras with us... and didn't take a single picture. Shame, shame on us....

Long drive back to Dans', got lost, kinda... missed our turn off I-70, but we figgered out an alternate that worked just fine.

The thunderstorms here are weird... slow-moving, for one thing.
