We were supposed to leave at 09:30 this morning... so when I looked at the clock at 10:30, I figgered Karen had gone off without me, and I was in deep, deep trouble. I was wrong about that, I'm happy to report. We were supposed to meet Rics' mother at the soccer field where her grandson was playing. Well, they got rained out, and had called earlier. Karen, bless her heart, let me sleep. So we finally met Jane at the south entrance to the turnpike and we had a pleasant trip down. Karen, however, had a headache, so we went to the hotel and checked in and she laid down for a coupla hours and woke up feeling much better. So, back over to Debbies', where we had a wonderful supper, excellent conversation and an excellent dessert... the weather was perfect, so we ate on their back deck.. And then back to the hotel. And I realized that I had forgotten my C-PAP... no sleep for me tonight, dammit.
