I did get right to sleep last night, although it was late... and I did get up on time this morning. Well, mostly on time.... We were a tech short in the morning, and pretty busy, running all day, in fact. And I was the runner, doing most of the running. I'm really looking forward to vacation... my boys and I are going to Washington DC to visit my brother, and hopefully we'll see my nieces while we're up there. JD and Tyler will fly to Kansas City and then drive with me to DC, then drive back to KC and then fly home. I've been in the area many times, of course, and JD at least once, but Tyler's never been, and I think that he'll have a blast. And so will I, yes, so will I. And I really sure that I will be able to maintain my sobriety... and I'm gonna stop smoking when I get back. Yep, promise. I haven't accomplished anything since I got home, really... just messing around. And, as usual, surprised at how soon it got late... time fools me a lot, dammit. There are a lot of other things that fool me besides time. Like, temperature. O, and who, what, where, when, why and how. Especially why and how. "Men never do evil so completely and cheerfully as when they do it from religious conviction.
