Well, I did get up on time today, at least. And got to work on time, too. Pretty hectic day at work... I was the Z guy, and I had a drainage procedure scheduled at noon. I thought that it might take an hour, but it was closer to two... missed lunch, and when I went up there, nothing looked good... so I had some cookies. Karen got home about a half-hour after I did... she'd been out to the reservation, gambling and dining... she and Kim met some friends out there, and she had a good time, and didn't lose too much. I went over to try to fix Kim's computer... ti died while her and Karen were in Louisiana... some maniac had hit a power pole down the block, and the surge when it came back on probably fried the motherboard... I tried changing the power supply, but no dice on that. I decided to inspect the power cord... aHa! It had been chewed on! So I came home and got another power cord... no dice. Man, I really hate to give up on computers, but I did. Then I went over to see Mom... took her some C+ pills and we visited for a while. I'm taking her grocery shopping tomorrow. All in all, not a bad day, and I'm feeling pretty good... I probably won't get called until tomorrow around 17:00... but I'm not counting on it, heh.
