That Ambien is wonderful stuff... I'm gonna do that again tonight.

But I'm behind schedule... and I have no one to blame... Karen is in Wichita... tonight was nephew Jeffs' HS graduation. I wish that I could have gone with her. O'well, dammit.

I was the runner today, and I missed *no* veins. Didn't have any hard ones, though.

And there was a service for Rick, the guy that I mentioned last week, who killed himself. It was in the chapel, and there was far too much praying for my liking, but what can ya do? Rick himself was pretty anti-religious....

I did get off on time, and went to Home Depot to look around and get a rasp for my toenails... I've got that old-person fungus stuff going on with my two big toes, y'know. The most effective cure for that is to take the toenail off, but nobody's gonna touch my toes once they find out that I'm diabetic.

So I just have to file them down paper-thin so that the toenail will stretch and the pressure doesn't build up on the toe-bone... that really, really hurts, yes it does.

Anyway, I've had two of the 4-way rasps for years and years... and suddenly, both of them are gone. I bought them for thirty-nine cents... and the one I bought today was eight bucks.

I'm gonna be hiding that puppy, you betcha!
