ARCHIVES - 1996 to FOREVER

Which we do, now.

It was too damned hot to sleep last night... so I pretty much didn't.

Went to bed at 20:15, got a nice rub from Karen... and tried to sleep.

Didn't work, though. Too damned hot.

After I finally went to sleep about midnight, I woke up at 01:30... too cold. We'd left the attic fan on....

So Karen turned the AC on this morning.

And it's pleasant in here now.

And I'm gonna sleep well tonight, yes I am.

Today was a real bitch at work... I started off at 08:00 running, got to stop at 10:00 to do a biopsy, and they were five patients behind when I got back.

And we stayed behind by five patients until about 16:00... the other late guy and I got to leave on time.

The biopsy was fun, of course, they all are. Interesting, finding the lesion, poke a needle into it... it was a bone that we did today, and the needles have little saw-edges on them, to bore into the bone.

Big, big thunderboomies to the north of us, moving north, of course. Lotsa rain, flood watches out... and tornado watches, too. Someday we'll get some rain... probably tomorrow and/or Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Geez, I haven't had a rant here for a while, I'm about due one, ain't I?

Anyways, the day left me, as it usually does, tard to the bone, with the legs taking the brunt of it.

So I think that I'll catch me up on some sleep....
