Unthanked mothers will,
at some future unknown time
get you back, but *good*.

For those of you who have mothers, I hope that you appreciated them at least today.

I had to share my Mom with Karen today....

Karen got up about 09:00, and she asked me if the girls were up yet. Well, I had no idea that the girls were even here... they were really quite. And they weren't up, anyway.

I had stayed up until about 02:00 this morning... Karen went to bed shortly after 23:00. After she was settled in bed, I went in and gave her a good-night kiss....

And that's always how our tiffs end... no concessions... just an acknowledgment that it's over, and things can get back to normal.

Anyway, Lacee wanted to take Grandma out for breakfast, and she invited me along. So we had to stop and get Emily some shoes, then we were off to Perkins.

It was still early, about 10:30, but every eating joint was packed. Ain't these damned people supposed to be in church or something like that?

We only had to wait about 15 minutes for a table though, and then thirty for our breakfast. But it was good, and the company was good, so it was OK.

Karen dropped me off, and then dropped the kids off and then went to meet Kim, who was taking her to some program where they go around and look at beautiful houses... I piddled around, accomplished pretty much nothing for most of the rest of the day. O'yeah, I did make some headway on my Hearts of Space collection, though. There are some generous thieves out there, heh.

And speaking of which... there seem to be a lot of leeches on soulseek, and many other file-sharing P2P programs. As soon as I realize that they're not sharing, of course, I ban them and send them a note... most people just ban them.

And I do pay attention to such things, even though it's a pain.

And it's raining! Just looked at the radar, looks like we'll get an inch or so, that will be good....

And I just now remembered to put a diagram on the stake that I put down for the gas meter-movers tomorrow... it was only sprinkling, but I put the diagram in a plastic cover.

Today's picture is of my wonderful Karen and my wonderful Lacee, of course.
