Green reflections on
grass and weeds and flowers and
temporal pleasures...

The race is not always to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, but that is the way to bet.

Hatred is the coward's revenge for being intimidated.

One of the first businesses of a sensible man is to know when he is beaten, and to leave off fighting at once.

Renunciation of thinking is a declaration of spiritual bankruptcy. - Out of My Life and Thoughts.

Inflation is when sitting on your nest egg doesn't give you anything to crow about.

Never do anything against conscience even if the state demands it.

A few samples of the philosophy that comes with the porn spam recently. It does have its effect, I don't delete them until I've read everything.

It's not quite as funny as the ones that I used to get... some sort of a program that would parse sentences out of random words. Not *that* was cool.

Again, a hard time getting up this morning, even though I went to bed early and got a nice rubdown from my wonderful Karen. Don't you wish that *you* had a Karen? Tough luck, buddy, she's *mine*, all mine.

Anyway, I was on the console today, but the day still pretty much wore me down. Everything was going pretty well, and everyone got lunch... but when it was my turn, at 12:30, the shit hit the fan. I went up and got a sandwich about 13:30 and smoked part of a cigar....

And I stayed over a little, until things were more or less in hand.

And, of course, I'm tard as hell.

Came home and did nothing, basically. Karen got us a couple of "Air Chairs" which I have to find a place to install... I kinda want them on the back deck, but the back deck is a ruin right now. And I don't really have any place to put them out front....

I was reading some old entries... I used to write a lot better, and much more interestingly. I need to get back to that... writing before I get too tired to think would help.

Think about something other than going to sleep, anyway.

All my life I have made it a rule, never to permit a religious man or woman to take for granted that his or her religious beliefs deserved more consideration than non-religious or anti-religious ones. I never agree with the foolish statement that I ought to respect the views of others when I believe them to be wrong
