The day was just about what I expected... I didn't do much of anything. Indeed, that was my plan. I didn't carry anything anywhere, and I kept my cane with me constantly, just in case. And the back is much better, no spasms since this morning. I've kept a heat pad on it for most of the afternoon and evening, and it feels like someone has beaten me with a two-by-four, just sore. Now... I've gotta get in shape, so I can work in my shop, once I get a shop.... I called and told everyone that I'd be back in tomorrow, I just hope that it works out. I think that I'm supposed to be in the scan room, but I won't know 'til I get there at 07:00. Karen took Mom to the doc today, and everything went fine. The doc thinks that Mom is a smart-aleck, and she's right, of course. She'll be getting a bone density test soon, I hope at St Francis. And now I need sleep.... Eskimo: "If I did not know about God and sin, would I go to hell?" Priest: "No, not if you did not know." Eskimo: "Then why did you tell me?" All my life I have made it a rule, never to permit a religious man or woman to take for granted that his or her religious beliefs deserved more consideration than non-religious or anti-religious ones. I never agree with the foolish statement that I ought to respect the views of others when I believe them to be wrong
on our minds, we find happy
times, and mis-spent youth.
