His specific sins were not allowing for the use of condoms in the world, thusly promoting the spread of AIDS; promoting the sins of his underlings by ignoring the pedophilia of his priests; and resisting the increasing rightful influence of women in the world.

His death was 20 years too late, as far as I am concerned; and that of the next one will come none too soon.

The catholic church will never be able to keep up with civilization.... and the death of the catholic church is almost a requirement for civilization to live on to the next stage of development.

Today was kinda laid-back... got up late, messed around until time for my doc's appointment at 15:40... just a pacemaker check. Almost too many PVCs for the lady to get the proper readings. I don't know what that might be about, but she said that everything was fine.

This evening, I've just been playing music. I got the lyrics/chords to Harry Chapin's "Cat's in the cradle" but I can't sing it, I start crying as soon as I start singing. I *can* play the music, though....

It took me a long time to be able to sing "Honey" for the same reason, heh.

And I'm going back to work in the AM, I decided to not take the day off, I'm gonna need those days soon to go visit Dan. JD and Tyler are coming too, if we can get it all worked out....

And I'm going in early, so this is all I'm gonna say tonight....
