Since the haiku from yesterday seemed even more appropriate for today, I left it there.... And it was a beautiful day, yes it was. Albeit with a sad ending, of course. Dan picked up Mom early this morning and they went for a walk, and Karen and I got up after 09:00... or at least I did, anyway, I guess that I didn;t notice when Karen got up. Dan and I went down to the hospital and I showed him some of the 3D stuff that we do on the PCs, I think that he was impressed.... And Dan and I spent the rest of the day talking, about a mix of stuff of little, no and sometimes great consequence. Together, I'm sure, we could change the future of the world with our wisdom, should the world choose to listen to us. Karen took a nice picture of us out on the front deck (click on the pic to get a bigger one), and I get several good ones of Mom and Dan. What I really need is a good one of Karen, she got her hair cut and frosted yesterday, and she looks fantastic. I will be making a few changes in the journal over the next several weeks, and some major changes in my life. Stay tuned, heah? So anyway, the sad part of the day.... Karen and I took Dan to his hotel by KCI... he'll have to get up at like 03:00 in the morning to get his plane at 07:00... and, of course, I miss him already.
