Another very pleasant day... and beautiful, weather-wise. Dan got up about 07:00, and I got up about 09:00... he'd gone to bed at 21:00, ma at 01:00. We went over an picked up Mom and went sight-seeing... first to the capitol building, which appeared to be closed, then to the farmer's market, then to lake Shawnee, which had a few fishermen who weren't having much luck... or from the looks of it, using much skill either. Then we met a relative, distant cousin of Mom's, at Applebees and had a good late lunch there. Then Mom went home with the relative to look at some pictures of their mutual relatives and Dan and I went home. He attempted to take a nap, but it didn't work for him. Later Mom called, so Dan and I went over to pick her up and dropped her off at her apartment. The deal was that she was gonna come over for supper... if she didn't call us, we were supposed to call her. Karen, sweet as she always is, had worked all afternoon to make supper... but when I called Mom, she was not feeling well, begged off the supper... so Karen and Dan and I ate while watching con-aire on the tube. Dan went to bed a little earlier than usual tonight, he's pretty well tired out just from not being home... I know that feeling well. And I have lots of other stuff to say, but I'm gonna go to bed myself, I think.
