Surprisingly, the fact that I was a famous person for 24 hours didn't increase my hit count nearly as much as I'd thought it would. After all, there are more than five million people who run SETI... and a measly 150 or so came to my site. And what did that do to my ego? Don't ask, please. I did have a Rad Tech in Italy write me, though! And I have yet to return an email to him, but I'll do that later. As well as respond to the people who want to join the SETI team... I need to make a page for that. I was up too late last night, and I've been loggy all day. No, I don't really know what loggy means, but it sounds right.... Anyways, hard time gettin up this morning. The work day was OK, but we are still short a tech, and that makes a big difference. Even though our schedule has been cut, we still take lots of emergency-type patients from offices and, of course, the actual ER patients. Our table seldom gets cold, heh. I tried recording some songs tonight, and something has messed up my settings in the program that I use, most likely WinAmp. There was a program that I recently DLed, Jukebox or something like that, that absolutely wanted to control my computer. I think that I finally got rid of the last vestiges of that, though... but you never can tell. I've gotta write a web page about SETI... I've got a lot of people interested, so I've gotta give them some direction... When it's up, the URL will be: :http://nilknarf.net/SETI And I've gotta get to sleep!
Love, it is forever... try
to reach a balance.
