I did get a good night's sleep, and the day was fairly easy. I was the runner, and of course my legs were fairly sore by the end of the day. I got a call from Jody earlier, he was going to be playing at Post 400 (VFW) tonight. I regretfully told him that I was on call. Then later in the afternoon, the evening tech told me that he could take call for me. So that worked out fine... and then Karen called, wanted me to meet her and Kim at Bullfrogs, a local watering hole, after work. So I went down there and stayed just a little while, I had some songs that I had to get written down. Came home and worked on those for a while, and then Karen came home. I had told her that Jody was playing, and suddenly she was enthusiastic about going out. So we did, and had a good time. We only stayed a little over an hour, though, but it was fun. And now I'm going to bed... long day tomorrow, I'll be on call, and I'm planning on changing the waterbed mattress... the new one has been sitting here for a coupla weeks. It's always a hassle draining the mattress. And crap, the internet is down. Guess I'll put this up in the AM...
