Brilliance ends I got up this morning at 05:30, much to my surprise... it was after midnight when I got to bed, and long after that before I slept. Went to the dentist, got a good cleaning and checkup, but I've got a little erosion on a molar between the crown and the gum line that I'll have to get fixed. I came back home and Karen was up, sitting on the front deck looking so pretty... and she'd made coffee, too! Not real coffee, of course, we don't keep any of that around any more. Anyway, she got ready and left for Wichita, and I went back to bed, that must've been around 10:30 or so. JD says that he got up at about that time, and I seem to recall some noise just as I was getting to sleep. But there is no way that I could have stayed up anyway. Got up finally about 13:30, and I've pretty much felt like crap ever since... just really sluggish, nothing really wrong, just nothing right, if you know what I mean. The toe, though... the toe is better. Good medication. And then JD pointed out that it could be that same medication that's making me feel not quite right. Diydadiyd. Pronounced die-daddy-ide. Damned if you do and damned if you don't. So... just watched John Edwards speak, and by golly, he speaks well. And I would like to watch Kerry tomorrow night, but there's a free jazz concert at Gage park. Decisions, decisions.... We'll probably watch Kerry, though. I think that he will do well, and a part of that is due to low expectations, I'm afraid. And it's 22:20, and I'm about ready to drop off here, so I think that I will do that.
