veracity suffers ...And it lasted about an hour, that's how long. I did the inpatient exam, then came home and went back to bed. Got to sleep about an hour later, and slept for an hour. Then I went in and did an ER patient and came home. Stayed up for a while after that, got to bed about 06:00... it was starting to get light, but it was raining pretty good by that time. I remember looking at the clock at 06:30 and thinking that OK, I wouldn't get called any more now, the other guy would be taking over. Except that there was one person working who didn't know about the change... and she called me at 08:30. And I slept until 13:00 or so after that, but not very well... toe hurting, y'know... got up and fumbled around for a bit, decided that I didn't want to go to Lawrence with Karen anyway. Checked my email, a message from JD; he wouldn't be up until tomorrow. Well, that's OK, maybe I can get some rest then. Tylenol, my friend tylenol... seems to help a bunch, albeit temporary. !7:00... time for a nap now.
