R> Life? Hard, and it sucks.

And once again, I have a sarcastic haiku.

Life is wonderful and death sucks.

Well, not really...

Life is wonderful, and death doesn't matter at all. Not, at least, to the one who's dead.

I've been much too philosophical lately.

Not saying that philosophical is bad, but a little bit goes a long ways. I'll try just being philosophical in my haikus from now on.

Today was an OK day at work, even though I forgot to take socks with me... I always keep a spare pair at work.

I got up more or less on time today, and I was sitting on the pot, not yet thoroughly wawake yet, when there was a *very* loud explosion outside the window. It was thunder, of course, and woke me up pretty good.

I got to work in the scan room today, and that was OK.

And after work I went to get the pacer/defibrillator checked. It was OK, the tech made some minor adjustments. There have been acoupla times recently when I came really close to getting zapped, once just last Friday, about 18:30 or so... when I was working.

After that, I went over to Kims, where I fgave up on her computer and reinstalled the origianl stuff. Bummer, yes it is.

And once again, it's past my bedtime. Lacee and the friend Emilie are staying the night....
