Lame haiku. Sorry.

This day has been hazy; I was up until 03:00 last night, I think, I watched a neat thunderstorm come in, then it started raining and I went to bed. Called again at 05:00, or 04:30; then I got to sleep from 07:00 until 09:30, then I spent five hours at the hospital, did about two hours' worth of work and three of waiting for the patients to get there.

And I just got back from my tenth and hopefully last trip.

I was overjoyed to see that the night tech that does *all* of the CT, not just the non-contrast ones, was there. She definitely made my day, I thought that I was gonna have another twelve hours of doing CTs. Of course, all bets are off if she gets really busy, but I'm hoping that doean't happen.

It worries me when my brain can't put two thoughts together to my satisfaction. Fatigue is a horrible mindless thing. At least it doesn't hurt my writing here any, this not being able to think. Been doin' it fer years.

Coming up the stairs last night from the basement, I saw something come in the cat door and skurry around the corner... and it didn't look like any of our cats. As I was walking into the dining room, the fattest racoon that I've ever seen tore through, skidding on my toes as he made for the cat door like a bat outta hell.

I had no idea that them 'coons could move so fast, especially when they're so fat....

So anyways... I'm planning on taking a shower and going to bed, even if the sun still is full up.

I'm starting to worry about all of these people dying in their 70s and 80s... if I live to be 80, that's only 22 more years, dammit. I've got too much to do to be able to get it all done before then....
