Daily Nilknarf Haiku

To find true wisdom
one must start humbly, quietly
seeking, finding... love

And another day gone, dammit, it moves too fast, this world, this time that we have.

I really just want to spend the rest of my days making music. I really think that I could play on the keyboards for 10 hours a day, then do some guitar work. Maybe fit in a meal or two, and a shower every third day... maybe every second in the summertime. I wouldn't be sweating any, hidden away in my basement with my instruments.

I'm really lucky that I have Karen, she's very indulgent with my excesses, hardly ever complains about my massive absences.

I'm lucky that I have her in many other ways, of course... she makes my life much better with her light countering my darkness. My hidden darkness, of course. The one that nobody can see 'cause, well, duh, it's *dark*.

Fahrenheit 911 won't be shown in Topeka. Why? Well, duh (man, I hate that... and twice in the same entry even...) it's *Topeka*! We'll have to go to Lawrence to see it, which we'll probably do next week.

Of course, I think that it's like preaching to the choir, but it's a helluva good way to make money, heh. And maybe some minds will be changed, y'never can tell. But nobody who has condemned it has even seen it. Kinda like those preachers talkin' 'bout those "wichcraft" books a coupla years ago... never read a one of 'em, but they were ***EEEEE-vil***!

There are so many jackasses in this world... and that statement make me think of Faux News and the epitome of all jackasses, O'Reily. He's a laughable jackass, while Cheney and Bush are scary jackasses.

Got all of Julys' work done for the journal, that's such a pain sometimes. Referring back to the opening sentence... the monsth just go *way* too fast.

OK, a little more music, then to bed, I haven't been getting enough sleep lately, I need to remedy that. Come to think of it, that probably happens 'cause I want to stay up all night and make music.
