ARCHIVES - 1996 to FOREVER

A long and not unpleasant day, it was.

I got up at 05:30, going in early so's I could leave early... and the schedule looked nice, so... I got to leave at 14:00.

Went home and realized that I hadn't burned the CDs that I needed to last night, just completely forgot about it. The pictures were on the laptop, and the disk in the laptop was full, so I transferred them to Monster, then deleted them from nilklap. I'd moved about two gigs of pictures and movies, but I only had about a half-gig to show for it. So I defragged the disk, which took a lot longer than I thought that it should, but I've now got a few gigs free and I can continue taking pictures.

We left for Wichita about 16:30 and had a nice drive down, and had a great evening with Deb and Ric and Chuck and Judy and Jeff. Tomorrow will be the onslaught, with the three Topeka kids arriving with their offspring and Chuck and Judys' sons coming in. One of them is flying in, and the other is driving from Baton Rouge with his wife and young son. I'm looking forward to seeing them again, it's been a number of years since I met them, I think that they were both still in school when Karen and I visited them in Baton Rouge.

The siblings (Karen, Chuck and Debbie) had a great time after supper, in fact we all did. And about 22:00 we left for the hotel, we took Chuck and Judy, since they're renting a car tomorrow. We're staying at the airport Hilton, pretty nice place, and paid for by the reunion fund, heh.

And now... to bed. Long day, as I said.
