Natural Silence
only occurs in a vacuum
People are noisy.

I was disappointed but not surprised by the Supremes (not the singers) sidestepped the pledge question. I have recently heard them called cowards, and I do believe that I share that opinion of them. They saw the easy way out and they took it, just as they did in 2000.

Yet another beheading. Atrocious, and O so typical. They sure know how to get to our soft Western minds, don't they?

Got up on time after sleeping well. Buncha rain last night, rather early this morning, we got like three inches. Way more than we need. And western Kansas needs it badly, but they don't get any, heh.

And work was busy, but for some reason or another, the number of phone calls was at a reasonable level. It's nice to be able to work without having to constantly answer the phone.

I started call at 16:30, and I didn't get home until about 19:00, and went back in shortly after that. I have the feeling that it's gonna be a long, long weekend here... but right now, I'm gonna try to get some sleep, see what happens.
