Daily Nilknarf Haiku

Only the lonely
know the heartbreak... oops, wrong song...
Ray is dead, dammit.

It's late, and I was already tired, but we had a good time.

I took Karen and Kim out to eat, and then we went to the Elan Grille for their comedy night. A friend of mine, Rick Kittle, was performing, and he did pretty good. The headliner was Luraleen, the Trailer Park Queen, and she was pretty good too.

The day was pretty horrible, lots of patients, lots of complications. One in particular sticks out, and I'll get to that in a coupla weeks after I cool down.

It's just really hard for me to believe the stupidity of people in general, and nurses in particular.

I'm going in at 07:00 in the morning so that I can leave at 15:30 and get a jump on the trip to Enid via Wichita. Now I just have to get up at 05:40. I have the feeling that Karen will be driving tomorrow....
