Daily Nilknarf Haiku

Brilliance redux
rainbows and moons, sometimes love
But never the dark soul.

So, let's pretend that I *really* liked yesterdays' haiku, and so did everyone else.

Recycling is good for the country. What are you, anyways, un-AMERICAN?

Bitch of a day. 50 patients in eight point five hours. I was the runner, and my legs and back are killing me now.

Jody and Lee Ann came over and Jody and I worked on his computer. Tried working with the original ME that was on there, futzed around for an hour to no avail, then took it down to the metal and started all over again.

I'm lucky that I like doing such things.

The W2K install went well, except that the drivers for the MB and peripherals are of the Compaq variety (since it's a Compaq) and I didn't think to look for them before we wiped the HD. Found them on-line, of course, but still....

I have slipped back into the ellipses again, I have. Old habits die hard, they do. There are, however, far worse sins in this world.

I'm on call tonight, and I got called in after Jody took Lee Ann home and came back, so we are gonna do this again tomorrow night, I should be mostly done by then with all of the programs that I want to load him down with.

And it's after midnight now, And I'm draggin' ass. There is a tech there now who can do non-contrast CTs, and hopefully there won't be any that need contrast... and I can get, at least, some sleep. Even though sleep is vastly over-rated, heh. You won't see me saying that much.
