Nightfall dims actual color I'm beginning to learn to chance the date on these entries first thing, after recent goofs and near-goofs. Next, do the haiku. Then, if I have anything interesting to say, I can write. And if I don't have anything interesting to say, I have to make something up. Well, no, I have to think harder. I didn't get to sleep last night, although I was bone weary. Finally, at 01:30, I got up and played some music for an hour or so, then I went back to bed at 03:00... and slept until almost 13:00. And dammit, I woke up feeling tired! There's something that's not right here in River City.... So basically I did nothing all day, and I'm still engaged in that (lack of) activity. We still have the little lost dog, and the ad that Kim put in the paper yesterday wasn't there today, hopefully it'll be there tomorrow, and we'll be able to return it to its' rightful owner(s). It's a really cute little dog, very even-tempered, especially for a Yorkie, and I could easily grow fond of him, but I won't 'cause he's a dog, and dogs are just too damned much trouble. Kim has a Yorkie and that damned thing is hyper, as most of them are. This one is male, and an older dog, maybe that has something to do with it. The cats don't seem to mind him much, but he and Raisin have gotten into some tussles, and they called it a draw, neither of them backing down and neither of them clearly victorious. I did go out once today, to midwestern music, and got a coupla E-strings, one for me and one for Patrick. Patrick's' father broke one on the guitar that I gave him while he was trying to tune it. Not much more to say today, gonna make it an early night.
