A beautiful day Day-um again! Time is not on my side here, it just keeps speeding on by, it does, much to my chagrin. I tried calling Mom earlier, and got no answer, so I thought that I'd try again later, but then it's probably too late now to call, dammit. So, Happy Mother's Day, Mom! I love you! Today has been a kind of blur for me, but a nice blur, nonetheless. To start off with, I didn't get up until 12:30... that's right, after noon! And I really felt good when I got up, and I still feel pretty good, in fact. We had a good time last night, went to see Tom at the Den first for his first set, then we went back over to Stinger's to watch Jody for a while. Many of the patrons from the Den had preceded us to Stinger's, but it was still emptier than usual. I did have trouble sleeping last night, though... the retainer for the soft face mask on the C-PAP mask has broken. Sometime during the night I had taken off the mask to go to the bathroom and the soft face mask fell out, and when I got back, I couldn't find it in the dark, and I didn't want to wake Karen up. I probably woke her up with my snoring anyway. But I got up again about 07:00 and found it with no problem, right where I thought it would be, and where I searched fruitlessly this morning in the dark. The rest of the day has been taken up with music, I finally worked out a transition that I've been working on for days. I'll have to see what it sounds like tomorrow, though. Late week coming up, I go in at 08:00. That's nice, this every other week thing. I get to sleep until 96:30 instead of 05:30, which means that I can afford to go to bed a little later, which is a good thing, since it's past 22:00 now.
Should not be wasted inside.
Go from that machine!
