Firstly, I didn't get called at all last night, and that was wonderful. I got up about 06:30, made coffee, read the paper... And I didn't get called until after 08:00. And I was there, working hard and fast, until 16:00. No breaks. Came home... for 15 minutes. Did six patients. Came home for 15 minutes. Did four patients. Came home, finally, at 21:00. Went by Taco Tico first, wanted me some mexican sanchos. Yep, they were good. And here I am, wanting to get this done and get back to bed. But first... And my back, legs and feet are killing me, and no Karen here to rub them for me! She and Kim are in KC for the weekend, having fun, I presume. And I have indeed lost all of my emails from the last two years. Yes, I have backed them up, from outlook. And outlook? In order to recover those files, it has to have he index file. Which is gone. Now, I could go through a half-a-gig file and see if I can find the things that I need, but it's like finding a needle in the proverbial haystack, y'know? So if I owe you some mail, I'm dorry. And over the last two weeks, there's a bunch of stuff that I hadn't even opened, thinking that I would have time to get to it later. Heh, I guess that I'll never learn. What I need to do is save important mail to a file, and not depend on outlook to do it for me. And now for some rest.

Shortly after I got home, I went downstairs to do some music. When I came back up, I noticed lots of flashing red lights. There had been a head-on collision right in front of the house next door and I didn't even notice it down in the basement, dammit. Something interesting happens right at my front door practically and I miss it! The cars involved were smaller vehicles, but had significant front damage, and all of the air bags deployed. A bystander (presumable innocent) told me that they had loaded one lady up in the ambulance, but nobody else appeared to be hurt.
