Daily Nilknarf Haiku

Bright days and happiness
transient parts barely visible
through the foggy gloom.

Yeah, words can be re-used in haikus... didja think that they were disposable, one-time-use only? OK, OK, I'll get some new ones today, the whole thing. It just seemed... right.

And no, now that you mention it, my haikus do not necessarily represent the way that I feel at any one time, or even as a whole; they just totally represent the words that are the product of the keys that I hit. But I do, I do take responsibility for them, yes I do.

Not prideful responsibility, no, but I'm not ashamed of them either.

I'm getting tired of complaining about being tard here, so I think that I'll stop.

But you have to promise to remember that I'm living my life tard. And if you should happen to forget that, I feel obliged to remind you.

I haven't really talked about politics much here lately, and I'll be brief. Bush needs to be impeached. We need to get our troops out of Iraq and quit spending the equivalent of our GNP over there. They don't want us there, and they will force us out eventually, there's nothing there for us to gain. So what if they pot another Saddam in there? None of our business. They need to do it on their own, and if we don't like that (and we won't) we can just stay away.

There are big domestic problems that need solutions, and solutions need money.

What we need to do is get rid of all of the Bushies and start all over... every bill he signed, every proclamation he made, every executive order... they all need to be rescinded. Everything that man has touched is sullied and unclean.

OK, enough of that, I've made my position pretty clear.

And now I think that I'll take a little nap, I've got about an hour before I'm likely to get called. When I do get called in, I've got a room at the hospital, so I won't come back home until I get all of the Saturday AM patients done at least, which probably means noonish at least.

Thanx for being here!
