Two Unfamiliar beds I can't remember where I left off last night, so I'll just start with this morning. Karen and I had a room with a king bed, and it was OK I guess, but it was no water bed. I slept fairly well up until daylight, and then I was plagued with nightmares until I finally awoke. Karen had already taken her shower when Lacee came to the door (they had one of our keys) and gave Karen her medicine bag. Karen had left it in Kim's van last night, and she tried to call, but they were eveidently asleep. Karen had to put her contacts in some medicine cups that we had and that worked out OK. Anyway, got up, showered and shaved and we were off to Debbie's for brunch. We had a real nice time over there, Karen's mom Betty did pretty well all the time that she was there. Jeff put on a clarinet concert for us, and that was very enjoyable. I'll put up the footage (can you call it footage when it comes from a digital camera? I think that I will...) later. I also need to send CDs to Deb and Ric and to Chuck and Judy. We left about 16:00 or so, got in here about 18:30, we stopped at McD's for a shake. More fast food, heh. I got a call from Brenda today, Jess seems to be doing better, and he's decided that he'll stay until they let him go home. Of course, that could change, he's been known to be that way. It's nice to be home, it is. And now it's after 22:00, and I have to get to sleep. I'll put the other entries up tomorrow, I hope. First day back to work. Looking forward to it!
